Here are 7 ways to get more…

  1. Subscribe to this blog.  Get headlines delivered to your Outlook, My Yahoo, GoogleReader or other account that accepts RSS feeds.
  2. Become a member of CGA. Either join online and pay by credit card or click here and mail in the form (membership form 2011-12 PDF).  Receive our quarterly newsletter and discounts and/or advance registration on events.
  3. Join our email list.  Be informed whenever CGA hosts an event.
  4. Become a “fan” of our Facebook page.  View photos & join the discussion.
  5. Sign up for our Yahoo Discussion Group.  Get advice from other parents.
  6. Want to really get the inside scoop?  Become a CGA campus rep or executive board member.  Campus reps meet monthly with the Director of Advanced Academics.
  7. Still craving more?  Join TAGT or NAGC to subscribe to their magazines or attend one of their conferences, where you will hear from expert speakers in gifted education.

Non-members will be notified of CGA events and will get some, but not all, of the information that we send to members.  Click here to join the list.

4. Become a fan of our CGA page on Facebook.

find_us_on_facebook_badgeIf you have a Facebook account, go to our CGA page on Facebook and click on “Like”.  You will then get updates on events and other important stuff we post on Facebook.  Also, you can upload your own photos of MOSAIC, join in on discussions or post your own comments or questions.

5. Sign up for our Yahoo Discussion Group

This is a forum to pose your questions via email and get advice from 70+ other parents of gifted kids.

6. Volunteer

If you really want to be “in the know” about gifted education in Coppell, there is no better way than to take an active role in CGA.  For information about the positions available, see About.

7. Join our state and national affiliates

As a member, you will receive their quarterly magazines and you’ll help give them clout when lobbying state or national legislatures to provide greater support for gifted education.  In addition to their annual conferences, TAGT hosts a one-day conference just for parents.
