- Become a member of CGA. Either join online and pay by credit card or mail in this form with your check. Receive our quarterly newsletter and discounts on events.
- Join our email list. Be informed whenever CGA hosts an event.
- Become a “fan” of our Facebook page. View photos & join the discussion.
- Sign up for our Yahoo Discussion Group. Get advice from other parents.
- Want to really get the inside scoop? Become a CGA campus rep or executive board member. Campus reps meet monthly with the Director of Advanced Academics.
- Still craving more? Join TAGT or NAGC to subscribe to their magazines or attend one of their conferences, where you will hear from expert speakers in gifted education.

1. Subscribe to this blog.
To be notified each time something new is posted to the blog, click on the ORANGE icon. Follow the instructions to add our blog to your existing MyYahoo or GoogleReader account.
Or, to receive email notifications, copy the URL that appears in your browser after you click the orange icon, then:
- Open up your Microsoft Outlook.
- On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
- On the RSS Feeds tab, click New.
- In the New RSS Feed dialog box, type or press CTRL+V to paste the URL of the RSS Feed. For example, http://www.example.com/feed/main.xml.
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
2. Become a member of CGA

3. Join our email list
Non-members will be notified of CGA events and will get some, but not all, of the information that we send to members. Click here to join the list.
(CGA members are automatically added to our email list.)
4. Become a fan of our CGA page on Facebook.
If you have a Facebook account, go to our CGA page on Facebook and click on “Become a fan”. You will then get updates on events and other important stuff we post on Facebook. Also, you can upload your own photos of MOSAIC, join in on discussions or post your own comments or questions.
5. Sign up for our Yahoo Discussion Group
This is a forum to pose your questions via email and get advice from 70+ other parents of gifted kids.

6. Volunteer
If you really want to be “in the know” about gifted education in Coppell, there is no better way than to take an active role in CGA. For information about the positions available, see About or contact Co-President Julie Madigan.
7. Join our state and national affiliates
As a member, you will receive their quarterly magazines and you’ll help give them clout when lobbying state or national legislatures to provide greater support for gifted education. In addition to their annual conferences, TAGT hosts a one-day conference just for parents.
