Gifted children may face unreasonable pressures

Children who are gifted sometimes feel pressure to be “on” all the time, even in subjects at which they don’t excel, gifted-education specialist Tamara Fisher writes in a blog post that followed a revealing conversation with her students. “I feel like any little thing I get wrong is seen by them as a giant black spot on my soul,” one boy said.
