Gifted Matters – Winter ’10 Edition
We’re halfway through the school year. With both NAGC and TAGT conferences just attended, it seems there are a whirlwind of ideas floating around CGA. Although, frankly, that is a bit of the norm for this group. This edition of Gifted Matters shares some of what we’ve learned at NAGC and TAGT, as well as a feature on CISD teachers offering a few pearls of wisdom for both parents and teachers. Then, we’ll share exciting new developments in CISD and what’s coming from CGA in the Spring.
- ’09 TAGT Conference Highlights
- Dr. Jeff Turner’s Thoughts on TAGT
- Educator Spotlight: Jean Guidry of Austin Elementary
- CISD Moving Forward – Elementary Education
- My Best Friend Google – Media Literacy
- MOSAIC Creative Problem Solving
- CGA Spring Events
We hope that you’ll enjoy the information included in this newsletter and find it helpful in planning your kids’ activities for the next few months. We’d love to hear back from you with thoughts on the events, past experiences, and what you’d like to see in the future. Email us, comment on the blog or Facebook, or tell your campus representative.
Sincerely,
Amanda O’Neal & The CGA Board
