Is your child brilliant academically, but can’t remember where he put his keys? Does your child spend endless hours on a homework assignment only to forget to turn it in? Does your daughter wait until the last minute to complete an assignment that she has had weeks to work on? Has your child’s lack of organizational habits and time management skills become a point of stress for your family? Come get some answers and real advice from a local expert and founder of Brainworks.

Why is being organized and being on time so difficult for some students? Are they wired differently? What can be done to improve their situation before it is too late.

In 1981, Carla Crutsinger created the Brainworks Educational Center in response to her search for a facility which could address the needs of her highly intelligent, gifted ADD son who was not reaching his maximum level of achievement in school. Since then, Brainworks has helped over 1,000 clients of all ages with a wide variety of learning problems — inlcuding areas such as time management, conflict resolution, organizational skills, and personal development. In addition to her many responsibilities at the center, Carla presents workshops and staff development sessions on a wide variety of educational topics for school districts, parent associations, and other groups across the country.

Is attendance only for parents? Or should we bring our organizationally-deprived teenager?

Great question! I think a teenager would likely pick up some great tips.
