Middle School GT: Powerpoint presentation
There are many improvements to the GT offerings for the 2010-2011 school year. The big news?
CISD is now offering GT classes in all 4 core areas:
- GT Language Arts,
- GT Math,
- GT Science, and
- GT Social Studies.
These programs are designed to be more engaging for gifted kids as they cater to the ways that high-ability children think… greater depth, greater complexity, bigger concepts, more creativity, varied ways of showing proficiency (besides mere multiple choice tests), and — perhaps the best selling point to your child — more efficient work instead of more homework.
