MOSAIC 2010 Summer classes: Last Call
The final week of CGA’s MOSAIC will take place August 2-6th at Coppell Middle School East. There is still availability in a few of the classes being offered.
All students entering 4th – 8th grade can enjoy a good game of fantasy baseball using Baseball Statistics. Or how about improving your handwriting and using your creativity with Calligraphy or making your own puppets for Puppetry? Are you good with strategy and cunning…..how about putting it to use and sharpening your skills with some training in the classic game of Chess? There are even a few spots available for the very popular Engineering class, can you program the Lego robots to navigate the obstacle course?
For the students entering 4th-6th grade, how about solving or creating a Murder Mystery? Would you rather learn and practice the art of Debate? What about learning the fundamentals of Money?
Finally, only for students entering 6th – 8th grade, learn about Rocketry by building, testing and improving your own rockets. Or, explore various software as you mix your own Creative Writing with unique presentations.
There is something for everyone. Classes either run from 9am – 10:30am or from 10:30am – noon. Take two classes and spend the whole morning exploring something new.
MOSAIC is open to any student entering 4th-8th grade. You do not need to be a CISD student or part of a “gifted” program to participate. Contact mosaic@coppellgifted.org for more information or to register. Please include student’s name, grade entering in the fall, and classes interested in attending.
