Record setting Creative Writing Competition

December 5, 2010

Congratulations to everyone who submitted an entry to our 3rd annual Creative Writing Competition.  We had 277 entries this year in the areas of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry and Graphic Novel — our largest competition to date.

Most of the students attend CISD schools, but we also have some young authors participate who attend other schools in the metroplex — Denton, Frisco, Lewisville — and even a student who attends the American School of Dubai!

Now, the judges have the difficult task of evaluating the talented work of our young authors.  The results will be posted at the beginning of February, 2011.

Mark your schedules now.  Book release party will be April 7, 2011.

Special thanks to the judges for all their hard work:
