My Child is Going to High School… Now What?

This month’s topic for “The Discussion” is “My Child’s Going to High School…Now What?” Spring registration is a perfect opportunity to dialogue about what parents and students can expect during the high school transition and the resources available to help them.  Attendees will hear about the many options offered to pique student interest and keep them engaged in their learning.  We will also discuss ideas on how parents can support their child’s learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.  The brown bag lunch is set for 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, in the CHS Lecture Hall.  Shuttle service will run from the CHS football stadium’s northwest parking lot beginning at 12:15 p.m.
