School Board Candidate forum – April 21.
Please come to the School Board candidate forum.
April 21, 2011
New Tech
6pm
Tracy Fisher and Amy Dungan will be answering the following questions (plus you will have a chance to submit your own):
1. Since we will be receiving less money from the state in the future, how will you involve the community to help make important decisions on where cuts will need to be made?
2. If, elected, how do you personally plan on keeping a pulse on the Coppell community? Name 3 specific ways you plan to maintain public relations with the Coppell school employees, parents, and the greater Coppell community?
3. How can we be assured that as a Trustee you will serve the needs of all students, regardless of abilities, backgrounds, or constituencies?
We will then have the candidates each draw additional questions that have also been submitted by the PTOs and each candidate will have a chance to answer.
Also, as attendees arrive that evening, they will be given an index card that they can write questions on. If these questions have not been addressed during the evening, some of these will also be asked to the candidates.
What a great opportunity to learn more about the candidates so voters can make an informed decision in May. Thanks to New Tech for hosting this event.
