Deadline for GT Testing: September 14, 2012
Interested in having your child tested for participation in the GT program at CISD? Assessments are based on results from the COGAT. This is not a test that your child can prep for — but it is important to understand the testing and application process.
Kindergarten: all kindergarten students are tested at the end of November. There is no need to fill out an application.
1st and 2nd Grade: Deadline is Sept 14. Testing is early October.
3rd Grade: all 3rd grade students are tested in October. There is no need to fill out an application.
4th Grade: Deadline is Sept 14. Testing is early October.
5th Grade: Deadline is Sept 14. Testing is early October.
Fall Secondary (6-12 grade): Deadline is September 14. Testing is October 20 or October 27.
