TAGT Professional Conference Nov 28-30, 2012

Educator members of CGA and TAGT will have the opportunity to attend the TAGT Annual Conference, Nov 28-30, for a deep discount (and the CGA bonus: you are eligible to attend on our dime.  We are accepting applications for TAGT Scholarships thru Sept 28.  Click the Register tab above for more details).

• As a member of CGA and TAGT, you are eligible to apply for a CGA scholarship to attend the annual conference.  Scholarship recipients will be able to attend the conference and receive all the benefits of CGA and TAGT membership for a mere $55.  That is a savings of $480.
• Educators join CGA FREE thru Sept 15 and receive a discount on a TAGT Professional membership.

Wednesday, Nov 28: Conference Institutes (8a-4:30p)

Participants investigate a topic in-depth, including:

• practical strategies for school-wide cluster grouping
• technology-based instruction and assessment
• how to design curriculum with depth, complexity, and rigor
• sessions with a special focus on science and mathematics
• and understanding the social, emotional, and psychological needs of gifted youth

Thursday, Nov 29 (8a-5p) & Friday, Nov 30 (8a-4:05p): 2012 Annual Conference

Participants may choose from a variety of breakout sessions led by experienced teachers and state and national leaders in gifted education. These sessions cover topics appropriate for beginning through advanced levels of experience in gifted education, and cover all grade levels.  Click here to see the TAGT Session planner
