Gifted Matters- September 2012
Dear CGA Member,
Can it be that a whole month has passed since school started? Time just flies when you are having fun! We hope you will enjoy this September 2012 Back to School edition of our newsletter.
We are very pleased to welcome CISD’s New Director of Advanced Academics, Kristen Brown to this new role and are excited about her helping us to further enhance our GT program. We are so excited to have the TAGT conferences right here in Dallas this year, and in this edition of our newsletter you will find details on both the Professional and the Parent Conferences. Over the past 6 years, CGA has provided scholarships to 199 CISD personnel, and you will be able to read about some of the upcoming workshops and conferences that the CGA scholarship committee has considered for scholarships. Enjoy reading about Introversion and how to use Twitter effectively. We’ll share an update about our MOSAIC summer program, and give you an opportunity to “meet” our new board members. Plus we are very excited to announce our first speaker in our CGA Speaker Series (which is just one of the benefits of being a CGA member) . Just click on the links below to read the articles.
