Fall 2013 Scholarship update

November 19, 2013

The scholarship committee continually works to fulfill the mission of CGA in which we believe one of the best ways to improve education for gifted students is to provide educators with opportunities to learn about gifted education.

CGA is excited to announce that they are providing scholarships to 23 CISD teachers and administrators (see list below), who will be joining over 2,000 others at the 2013 Texas Association of Gifted Children’s Conference scheduled to be held in Houston December 4-6 at the George R. Brown Conference Center.
With 13 CISD campuses represented, 15 will be attending three-days and 8 will be attending two-days, composed of 150 training sessions offered in 15 strands of designated subjects. Six of these attendees will actually be presenting a training session. We are anxious for the attendees to share their learnings upon their return.
