2014-15 CGA Creative Writing Update: Finalist certificates & pre-order books

The Creative Writing Competition finalist certificates were provided to your campus rep for distribution the week of February 9th.

Students who are outside CISD should receive notification by mail by February 14.

We will be posting the final results on our website on February 13.

All students who receive 1st Place or Honorable Mention must have a Parent Permission Form completed to have their work published in the book. Please click HERE to fill out the form. The forms must be completed by March 8, 2015 for the story/poem to appear in the book.

Books contain the entries from the finalists: ALL 1st place and honorable mentions.  For final results, please click HERE (results will be posted by midnight on Feb 13, 2015).

1st place winners receive 1 free copy of the book.

All Finalist Books pre-ordered will be distributed at the

Drawing for GoPro Camera. Student’s published in book are eligible, must be present to win.

• 1st Place winners will have the opportunity to present a brief (4 minute) excerpt of their winning entry.

• Honorable Mentions and 1st Place winners will be called to the stage for recognition and photo opportunities.

• Drawing for GoPro Camera. Student’s published in book are eligible, must be present to win. (Program typically lasts until around 8pm.)
