Summer 2014 Scholarship update

We are winding down for the year however we have been busy this week announcing our summer scholarship recipients.  Nearly $6K has been awarded to five lucky applicants at CMSN and CHS.

Tess Haranda, Brooke Horn, and Angel Geiger; all on the 7/8 GT Team at North will be attending the National Conference on Differentiated Instruction in Las Vegas.

Kimberly Kindred – AP at CMSN will be attending the SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted) Conference in San Jose in July.

Michelle Zugaro – CHS AP Statistics facilitator will be attending the AP Summer Institute in Henderson, NV.

Please be sure to share your congratulations and thanks to these dedicated teachers when you see them on their campuses.

We look forward to hearing about the experiences they have to share upon their return.  Stay tuned to our website over the summer for updates.

The fall NAGC annual conference is in Baltimore in November and TAGT conference is in Ft. Worth in December.  Please look for additional opportunities to stay on top of the best practices of GT education when our fall scholarship applications come online in August.
